Use, storage and disposal
The practical rules for using professional chemical products safely: from dosing to disposal, to the emergency number. The label and the safety data sheet (SDS) of each product always prevail.

Safe use
Use each product only for the purposes and at the dosages shown on the label and technical data sheet. Never mix different products — in particular never acidic products with chlorine-based ones (hypochlorite): toxic gases may be released. Work in ventilated areas and wear the protective equipment (gloves, goggles) indicated in the safety data sheet. For products used on food-contact surfaces, respect the contact times and any prescribed final rinse.
Storage
Keep products in their original containers, tightly closed, in a cool, dry place, away from heat sources, direct sunlight and food. Never decant into anonymous bottles or food containers. Keep products out of reach of children and store acids separately from bases.
Disposal and take-back
Do not pour concentrated products down drains or onto the ground. Completely empty containers go to municipal collection; residues must be handed to the cantonal collection points for special waste. We take back small quantities from private customers free of charge at our Novazzano premises: contact us before bringing material. Details are in section 13 of each product's safety data sheet.
In an emergency
Swiss Toxicological Information Centre (Tox Info Suisse): 145 — available 24/7. In case of contact with eyes or skin, inhalation or ingestion: follow the first-aid measures in section 4 of the SDS and keep the product label or data sheet at hand. If swallowed, do not induce vomiting unless medical staff advises otherwise.
